TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General

1.         The Wheels of Fortune promotion will commence at 10am on Monday 9th September 2024 and run until approximately 4pm on Sunday 17th November 2024.

2.        This promotion is open to all current financial members of Rainbow Beach Sports Club.

3.        Members will earn one (1) entry ticket during the promotion with every $10 play (turnover) on the gaming machines with their membership card inserted, or with every $4 spend on food and beverage (where card services are available, and members card is swiped) at Rainbow Beach Sports Club.

4.        Members can enter as many times as they like during the promotional period when they meet the entry criteria.

  1. Members must be present on the draw days and times to win.
  2. Management may elect to offer bonus cash prizes based on members loyalty tier, offer bonus entries into the promotion, &/or bonus entry periods for nominated draw dates at their discretion.

7.        All promotions are conducted using the Max e-draw system, no paper tickets will be issued.

  1. Following the major draw on Sunday 17th November 2024 at approximately 4pm, all entries will be deleted and will not be retained for any future promotions.
  2. Members will need to validate their tickets within two (2) hours of each draw by:
    1. Swiping their membership card at the kiosk; or
    2. Inserting their card in a gaming machine; or
    3. Using their card when making a food or beverage purchase.
  3. The validation time of eligible entries may be changed by the promotional staff in the event of three (3)+ redraws occurring, the promotional staff will notify patrons of this occurrence and allow ample time for members to re-swipe their membership cards. It is the patron’s responsibility to revalidate their entries.

11.        Members selected from the electronic draw system have two (2) minutes to claim their prize from the specified draw area. If the selected winner does not present themselves to the promotion host within the two (2) minutes of being announced, they forfeit their claim to the prize and a redraw will take place until an eligible winner is found.

12.      It is the responsibility of eligible members to position themselves within the Club where they can hear the public-addressed announcements.

13.      Winners must present their membership card to the promotion host when claiming their prize. Additional proof of identity may be requested at the discretion of management.

  1. Draws will be conducted on the following draw dates during the promotional period:
    1. Sunday 15th September 2024 (Weekly Draw)
    2. Sunday 22nd September 2024 (Weekly Draw)
    3. Sunday 29th September 2024 (Weekly Draw)
    4. Sunday 6th October 2024 (Weekly Draw)
    5. Sunday 13th October 2024 (Weekly Draw)
    6. Sunday 20th October 2024 (Weekly Draw)
    7. Sunday 27th October 2024 (Weekly Draw)
    8. Sunday 3rd November 2024 (Weekly Draw)
    9. Sunday 10th November 2024 (Weekly Draw)
    10. Sunday 17th November 2024 (Weekly Draw + Major Draw)
  2. The maximum total promotional prize pool is $39,200.

 

Weekly Draws

  1. On each of the above weekly draw dates, a total of four (4) winners will be drawn. One (1) member will be drawn at approximately 2pm, 2.30pm, 3pm, and 3.30pm.
  2. Each winner selected will choose three (3) cards from the gameboard to reveal their accumulated cash prizes.
  3. The Wheels of Fortune gameboard consists of twenty (20) cards:

 

  1. One (1) x $20 cash with 180km
  2. One (1) x $20 cash with 170km
  3. One (1) x $20 cash with 160km
  4. One (1) x $20 cash with 150km
  5. One (1) x $30 cash with 140km
  6. One (1) x $30 cash with 130km
  7. One (1) x $30 cash with 120km
  8. One (1) x $30 cash with 110km
  9. One (1) x $30 cash with 100km
  10. One (1) x $40 cash with 90km
  11. One (1) x $40 cash with 80km
  12. One (1) x $40 cash with 70km
  13. One (1) x $40 cash with 60km
  14. One (1) x $50 cash with 50km
  15. One (1) x $50 cash with 45km
  16. One (1) x $50 cash with 40km
  17. One (1) x $80 cash with 35km
  18. One (1) x $80 cash with 30km
  19. One (1) x $100 cash with 25km
  20. One (1) x $200 cash with 20km

 

  1. The winner will receive the total of all cash prizes on the cards selected.
  2. After each draw, the promotion host will shuffle all the cards and return them to the gameboard ahead of the next draw.
  3. On each of the game cards, there will also be a distance in kilometres.
  4. After the last draw of the day, the top three (3) members with the highest distance (combined from their three (3) selected cards) will receive a bonus cash prize on top of their winnings, breakdown as follows:
    1. 1st place – $150 cash bonus
    2. 2nd place – $100 cash bonus
    3. 3rd place – $50 cash bonus
  5. In the event of a tie with two (2) members accumulating the same distance, the prize money for the podium position and the one below will be combined and split 50/50.
  6. Members can only win a maximum of once (1) per draw day.

 

Major Draw

  1. The major draw will be held on Sunday 17th November 2024 at approximately 4pm, after the four (4) preliminary draws have taken place.
  2. The major draw prize consists of:
    1. Two (2) x $500 cash
    2. One (1) x MG HS car valued at $20,000.
  3. All members with entries into the promotion are eligible for the major draw.
  4. Members must be present to win.
  5. If the selected member does not present themselves within the two (2) minutes, a redraw will take place until an eligible finalist is found.
  6. Members can only win one (1) place as a finalist. If they are drawn a second time, a redraw will take place to select another finalist.
  7. In the order drawn, each finalist will be asked to choose a briefcase and stand behind it. Once all three (3) finalists are in place, the promotion host will announce for them to open their briefcase, to reveal their major prize.

 

 

Standard Conditions

  1. The promotion is conducted under the guidelines for category 4 promotional games of the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999.
  2. Whilst all care will be taken, Rainbow Beach Sports Club will not be responsible for any malfunctions or problems relating to the Max Gaming system or associated software systems.
  3. Rainbow Beach Sports Club shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  4. Rainbow Beach Sports Club accepts no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, system failure, theft or destruction and reserves the right to take appropriate action as required any such matters.
  5. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, that hinders Rainbow Beach Sports Club’s ability to proceed with the promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures or natural disasters, management may in its absolute discretion take any action that may be available to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
  6. Staff of Rainbow Beach Sports Club are ineligible to enter the promotion.
  7. Management will not be liable for any unauthorised use of a member’s membership card.
  8. Management reserves the right to change, alter and end the promotion at their discretion.
  9. Management’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. Participation in promotions indicates acceptance of the terms and conditions.
